Xtremesoft Announces Beta Release of AppMetrics® for BizTalk Server

New Version Supports Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM)

Woburn, Massachusetts: February 6, 2002 - Xtremesoft, Inc. today announced the beta release of its latest version 2.0 of AppMetrics for BizTalk Server. This release showcases support for BizTalk Server 2002 and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM), and features Xtremesoft's new Suspended Document Manager and RapidResponseSM Engine.

The Suspended Document Manager (SDM) shows the administrator the status of all suspended documents, individually the most time consuming administrative task associated with BizTalk. It provides full control through a comprehensive web interface; giving administrators drill down visibility into all suspended documents, through the use of multiple analysis views, including: a Trading Partner View, a Suspension State View, and a Document and Interchange View. Moreover, these views feature multiple attribute filtering, and allow you to easily act upon groups of suspended documents. Used in conjunction with the RapidResponse engine, it can automatically manage the suspended document queue.

The RapidResponse Engine utilizes BizTalk Server 2002, itself, to automate processing of document exceptions and errors that occur in normal, day-to-day operations. Because the handlers are implemented, using BizTalk Server 2002 Orchestration, they can be easily customized to match the specific needs of a customer's unique application. The engine is highly scalable and supports long duration queued requests and responses, enabling robust event handlers to be built. The Document Transmission Failure event handler, for instance, features automatic polling of a trading partner followed by automatic document resubmission when the channel is recovered.
